Wild paper clay

We have had the absolute joy of sharing wild clay vessel making with some good friends, artists and generally excellent people of late. A lovely thing to come from these collaborations are developments in techniques, and in this instance, we used our tools for making paper pulp, to make a pulp from egg boxes which we could add to our freshly harvested wild clay, to make paper clay!

We have yet to fire these which is the real test to their structural integrity, keep an eye on this post for updates.
