A handmade notebook with a cover made of birch leaves and bark, bound with birch dyed wool.
Samples of birch dyed wool and birch/iron dyed silk, wrapped around pieces of birch bark.
A reed pen with a plant ‘lid’, complete with birch bark ‘ink well’ inside the pen, just below the nib.
Two rich birch inks, birch leaves and birch bark and iron.
