Bringing the joys of spring, this very yellow gorse flower ink, takes us back to a time of warmth and coconut smelling gorse bushes.
This is a limited edition ink, made during a time of connecting to gorse. As it is a flower ink, not from the bush bark or foliage, it has less light fastness than other inks, we say it has medium light fastness.
However, this is a helpful reminder that fading is beautiful, especially as it gives us the opportunity to paint seasonally, going over old work, breathing life back into that which has faded.
Or, kept out of the light, this ink will last much much longer.
Please note: all our inks contain clove oil as a preservative.
