Marigold is a widely grown plant that helpfully contains incredibly rich yellows and oranges, all of which have great light fastness.
The celebratory hues of marigold remind us of the flower’s wide use in Hindu ceremonies and rituals, having different meanings and symbolism depending on the worship happening.
Marigold is beautiful on it’s own, and very useful as a colour mixer as it is a primary colour. The ink can be used with any of our inks or watercolours to create a wider variety of shades.
