Our wild clay, wood fired ink wells work beautifully in holding ink for use with a dip pen or paint brush.
The inside of the ink well is sealed in a unique way with beeswax from Galloway. This allows us to fire these ink wells using a traditional method of wood firing which is low impact as we are able to fire at lower temperatures.
There are two variables for this ink well, flat or rounded bottomed and the size is approx 2.5cm high. (30ml bottle of ink in photo for scale)
