Making Fabric Paints using Indigo and Earth Pigments, OMA STUDIO, 15th August
In this workshop you will learn how to make non toxic - plastic free fabric paints using indigo and earth pigments.
These paints can be used on any natural fibres and in this workshop we will be focusing on cotton and linen. Natural fabric paints can be used on recycled or new fabrics, and are great for a variety of uses such as using up old fabrics, painting on canvas for creating art pieces, craft projects such as decorating cushions covers or lampshades, using when crafting with young or vulnerable people, and much more.
These fabric paints have a great versatility and are fantastic for experimentation, the natural colours have an easy to work with, harmonic palette and the inexpensive, low waste ingredients encourage an abundant way of working.
Please note - We will be using a soya based binder, however alternatives are available so please note when booking if this would be helpful.
Please note - This workshop is happening at our studio, Old Mill Arts, Mabie Steading, Mabie DG2 8HB
