Making Fabric Paints using Indigo and Earth Pigments, LOGIE STEADING (FORRES), 27th Oct
*15% reduction on any workshops when booking more than one, please get in touch to receive the discount code.
In this workshop you will learn how to make non toxic - plastic free fabric paints using indigo and earth pigments.
These paints can be used on any natural fibres and in this workshop we will be focusing on cotton, linen and hemp. Natural fabric paints can be used on recycled or new fabrics, and are great for a variety of uses such as using up old fabrics, painting on canvas for creating art pieces, craft projects such as decorating cushions covers or lampshades, using when crafting with young or vulnerable people, and much more.
These fabric paints have a great versatility and are fantastic for experimentation, the natural colours are easy to work with, have a naturally harmonic palette and their inexpensive, low waste ingredients encourage an abundant way of working.
Please note - We will be using a soya based binder, however alternatives are available so please note when booking if this would be helpful.
