You will learn how to layer pieces of wet paper to create larger pieces, and how to embed hanging materials into wet paper in order to link pieces together, creating works that can be hung.
During the day you will have the chance to experiment with writing and mark making using Old Mill Art’s collection of plant inks and dip pens to create collage material, and will be invited to bring along any collage material to use in creating works.
Finally, you will have the opportunity to use an A3 screen to create larger pieces and throughout the day you will have access to various premade paper vats naturally dyed with plant dyes.
This aim of this workshop is to celebrate the potential of this environmentally low impact craft using plants and plant colour to inspire beautiful designs and meaningful pieces.
